After watching this video and seeing him stand I promptly got out the outlet covers and covered all accessible areas.

Welcome to the world Dylan

To my son I say:

Mommy and Daddy love you Baby Boy, and we can't wait take you home. You are already the perfect addition to our family, and we our thankful for you every day.

I pray that I can be the mother that you deserve. You are sure to be strong and smart like your father and I hope that you will get whatever qualities you need from me to make you the amazing person I already know you are. I pray that you'll always follow your heart and know that you were raised by parents who love everything about you.

Sleep tight little man and keep getting stronger! This big world is waiting on you, and we have been saving kisses for 9 months just for you! We love you Dylan!!!

Karma

Last night before we went to bed our little man had a pretty serious case of hiccups. Normally, no matter how strong the movements are before I tell Jason to feel, as soon as he does our little Ninja stops or moves so Jason can't feel him. Last night was very different though in that Jason was able to feel a bunch of movements. Then, we assumed that his hiccups were like ours, where eventually your body stabilizes them and they slowly go away. What does my darling husband do though??? He moved him so they started right back up where they were. Then Jason went to lie back down and you know what happened? He got the hiccups himself...ha ha let's see how you sleep buddy. :)

I think he's onto us

I don't know if you can tell from this picture or not...but it's obvious Merv knows big changes are coming and he's acting out a little. Crazy weiner dog!

30 Minutes with Dylan

Today was our visit to Baby's Debut in Appleton. This was such an amazing experience! Probably the best 30 minutes of my entire pregnancy so far. I was so nice to be able to see him, watch him move AND share this experience with all of his Grandmas and Grandpas.

Enjoy!

Insomnia

Apparently insomnia is "normal" at this stage. I think it's a cruel joke and likely just a reminder that I will never sleep normally again. We're getting by though, just catching up on more than my fill of infomercials and late night surfing.

We have officially moved to appointments every two weeks and last nights was our first. The doctor said everything is perfectly normal! Ninja's heartbeat has consistently been in the 160's, yesterday it was at 150. The doctor says that this is because he is learning to regulate himself.

He is a pretty crazy kicker from time to time and definitely has made himself a schedule. I can normally feel him most from 9:30a.m.-11a.m., 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and if I'm awake, which I normally am from 3:00a.m to 4 a.m. Our favorite game right now is to put the remote control on my belly and watch him kick it.

Other than that, things are going great! In the next week or so we are going to Baby's Debut, which is an elective ultrasound in Appleton. We are so excited to see him again. This place also allows for visitors during the ultrasound so we are excited for Grandmas and Grandpas to be able to "meet" him too!

We will definitely post pictures when we get them!

100 Days to go!

Realizing of course that a due date is just an estimate of when the baby may arrive, it's still pretty scary to see that tomorrow that number will just be two digits. Yikes! Everyone said it would go fast and it has (for the most part). I am happy to report that we have a few things ready around the house now. We have cleared out the spare bedroom to turn into his room and have gotten it painted as well. We have ordered our furniture which we are expecting this week and have our bedding set ready to be put on that when it arrives. Seems like at least the big parts in there are finally just about together.

Here is a picture of the nursery set, it is called Wings
